Novo Brazil is an iconic San Diego-based brewing company with a distinctly Brazilian soul and a loyal following across multiple locations. The brand had a strong visual identity in print and in the restaurants themselves, but the website was not keeping pace. PDF menus were hard to maintain and worse on mobile, the reservation experience was inconsistent across locations, and the digital brand felt disconnected from the vibrant physical one. Mithril brought all of it together into a site that matches the energy of the Novo brand and makes it easy for guests to eat, drink, and book.

How we got there
The Problem
- Lack of cohesion between print brand and digital brand
- Using old PDF menus that are cumbersome to update and create a poor UX
- Difficult to make reservations at a given location
The Solution
PDF menus were replaced with a fully native, mobile-optimized menu system built directly into the CMS, making updates easy for the Novo team and dramatically improving the browsing experience on any device. A location-driven architecture was implemented so guests can seamlessly select their preferred Novo location and access location-specific menus, events, and reservation options. The entire visual design was built as a direct extension of the established Novo Brazil brand, using their bold color palette and high-energy aesthetic to create a digital experience that feels continuous with the restaurants. Online reservation and ordering integrations were added to drive conversions across every location.
